A Global Service Manager is required to join an employer of choice based in East Kent.
Reporting into the General Manager, the incoming candidate will ensure that the company’s technology products are installed, serviced and repaired effectively and efficiently on a global scale.
The post holder, managing a small team of staff, will head up both the support of existing product, and the development and rollout of new product & product changes. These responsibilities include: service process development & testing, training, technical support and troubleshooting, repairs and refurbishment, documentation, tracking and reporting metrics, and project management aspects including planning and scoping. On a hands-on level, the Global Service Manager will oversee the activities of the company Servicing department to include diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and refurbishments.
Candidates will need to be qualified to degree level, and have demonstrable experience within electro-mechanical servicing and repairs in order to be considered. An exposure to working with medical devices and medical technologies will be required, with experience of mechatronics being desirable. A proven track record in achieving first-class outcomes in a customer oriented working environment is needed.
Applicants should possess skills in process development and improvement including working with ERP systems. A willingness to travel for extended periods of time will be required, and you will be comfortable in working within field-based settings on a regular basis.
