Performs a variety of duties relating to restaurant service including greeting and serving the customers, cold food preparation, stocking counters and maintaining sanitation standards. Responsible customer service is a major function of this position. Represent company in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner and all customer and employee interactions
Stocks counters, display refrigerators, condiment station, and salad bar areas neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner as per the tariff and menu
Prepare sandwiches to order, or pre-prep sandwiches or sandwich fillings
Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards
Displays foods under appropriate hot or cold at temperatures as per standards
Completes food and beverage preparation assignments accurately and in a timely fashion
Handles all items appropriately during preparation
Maintains accurate portion control and merchandising standards when preparing and serving all items.
maintain proper food handling, safety standards while preparing, serving and cleaning all items
Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during service
Cleans tables and chairs, as assigned, before, during, and after service. Arranges tables and chairs as per standard plan for the area.
Cleans equipment, as assigned and in a timely fashion
To complete all cashless and cash transaction accurately. Process all wastage through the cashless system.
To work in other outlets when required – ensuring all procedures relating to those areas are carried out to the required standard.
Responsible for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, Labelling, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures follows company H & S standards
Informs supervisor, manager in a timely manner of any issues
Follows and observes all company policies and procedures
Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively as per agreed standards
Serve food neatly and attractively as per agreed standard Maintains accurate portion control and merchandising standards when preparing and serving food items
Maintains professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed in accordance with company standards
