Scitegrity is a small UK based company specialising in the software and processes used within the pharmaceutical drug discovery industry. Our flagship product ‘Controlled Substances Squared’ (CS2) is used by major pharmaceutical / chemical companies and regulators to help ensure compliance against controlled substance legislation or collaboration contractual terms. Within one year of its release four of the top ten pharma companies have come to rely on CS2.

Due to the success of CS2 we are expanding our team and are currently looking to fill a chemo- informatics / developer / support role.

We are based in Sandwich, Kent and this is intended as a full time role. However, we are willing to explore home working and/or reduced hours for the right person.

Key activities in the role include

 Development of future versions of CS2
 Support of existing customers’ questions / queries
 Support of new customers’ installations (mainly through remote work)
 Support of Scitegrity’s data systems, e.g. server OS, supporting software upgrades, regression testing, etc.
 Encoding of chemical legislation into CS2 via computational means (depending o nexperience)

Skills and experience of the ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate will have proven skills and experience in as many of the areas listed below as possible. We understand that this list is extensive and not all potential candidates will have every one of these covered. Scitegrity will provide the necessary support and training to allow the successful candidate to acquire all of the necessary experience and skills for the role.

A key personal attribute will be the flexibility to learn, adapt and grow with minimal supervision.

 Knowledge and experience in developing Pipeline PilotTM based protocols

 Experience working in the Drug Discovery industry (scientific or informatics roles)
 Experience in querying Oracle databases - ideally with some experience in basic Oracle DB support (e.g. table and index creation, data pumps, etc.)
 A chemistry degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
 Experienced in Javascript programming
 Use of Chemistry DirectTM
 Experience of using Linux (command line) based servers  Confident in interacting with potential customers in a technical sales role and representing the company Salary: £30-£45K D.O.E
