Calibration & Instrumentation Technician

To provide calibration and instrumentation support to regulated facilities. To ensure maximum availability of instrumentation and controls using safe, efficient, planned maintenance, calibration, and fault resolution
Main Duties: Accountable for ensuring that Regulatory activities are carried out, in compliance with Client Quality System and the Company IMS as defined in Client and ParkServe Site SOPs, Processes, local SOPs and any adopted procedures.
Maintenance of plant and utilities to ensure appropriate and correct operation, to efficiently and reliably operate within specification while ensuring that records are maintained as required by Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice.
Duties and responsibilities include:
provision of a comprehensive Control and Instrumentation service, to the client facility, in accordance with approved SOPs
ensure maximum availability of plant and user equipment through efficient planned maintenance and prompt response to faults
provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and hand over works for plant and user equipment
ensure that all work orders are completed and issued and closed down in full compliance with the Equipment Maintenance System
when required to raise and issue a Change Control Notification (CCN)
raising, issuing and signing Calibration Exception Reports where situations that deviate from the expected and found during maintenance activities on GxP qualified equipment, systems and utilities, which could affect product qualit
first line diagnostics and planning of the required remedial work.
recognize spares requirements, order spares and make stock items as necessary.
ensure suitability of test and measurement equipment and updating as necessary.
initiate and receive Permits to Work in accordance with procedure.
provide a unique technical support and liaison for the customer.
Monitoring, interrogation, and maintenance of the BEMS.
modification to building services control and instrumentation.
modify drawings and documentation.
installation of new instrumentation.
review, amend and reschedule PM Work Sheets.
initiate assets/PMs for new equipment when required to do so.
provide and where required, implement solutions to design problems.
identify new works e.g. small projects to ensure for continual improvement and operation.
identify and incorporate energy efficiency control strategies.
provide and maintain a good level of communication within department and customer.
All client SOP’s, SOI’s, and other procedures are understood and complied with at all times
Completes shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards
Follows and observes all company policies and procedures
Follows company standards for attendance and punctuality
Maintains professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed in accordance with company standards

Education & Experience
ONC or equivalent in Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
5years experience in a regulated environment
Ability to work across multiple disciplines an advantage
Health & Safety awareness
Ability to work on their own
