Discovery Park welcomes tenants that have a focus on sustainability and were enthusiastic when green-champions Spara moved to the site in early 2014.

Spara are paving the future for environmentally considerate software through development of their carbon-footprint reducing software. The product, which is the world’s first Power Management System based on Artificial Intelligence, is installed on to desktop PCs and laptops to learn the behaviour of the user. After a few days, it can pre-emptively open and close programmes, conserving energy up to 40% and saving money.

It is estimated that IT accounts for nearly 5% of all energy used globally and Spara are out to change the world, one PC at a time – we’re pleased to have them on board at Discovery Park.

This is just one of many great stories from a site continuing to set the pace for #science + #enterprise in…
