Discovery Park team serving up winning dishes for Euro 2016

Posted on 07/06/16

Discovery Park is looking forward to a bumper summer of sporting events starting with this month’s UEFA Euro 2016 in France.

The site’s events and conferencing team have put their heads together for a winning combination of dishes served up throughout the tournament, linked to the teams taking part.

From Spanish paella to Turkish baklava; leek, potato & Guinness soup to Croatian sea bass, a winning combination of flavours is promised for food – and football – fans. We can recommend the Swedish meatballs served with cheesy mash.

On Thursday, June 16, the big crunch match of Group B, between England and Wales, takes place with tenants able to enjoy the game in The Playroom, the site’s informal networking space transformed, for 90 minutes at least, into a virtual stadium.

The site’s Java outlets will also be putting on dishes for each side too; with a traditional roast beef and Yorkshire puddings or Welsh rarebit with roasted veg.

Sophie Mannering, Catering Manager for Parkserve at Discovery Park, said: “We love a theme at Discovery Park and our award winning catering team have come up with some delicious culinary dishes to mark the Euros.

“These tournaments are difficult to call, but we will be cheering on England (and a few will be rooting for Wales) as we will serve up some delicious winning dishes of our own for businesses to enjoy.”

This is just one of many great stories from a site continuing to set the pace for #science + #enterprise in #kenttwitter.com/i/web/status/8…
