Financial experts Wealth Planning Associates are making an investment for the future with their new base at Discovery Park.

Company director Doug Young, who has more than 25 years experience in financial services, set up Wealth Planning in 2009 with the aim of providing customers with a face-to-face service dedicated to meeting their needs.

He has built up a strong team of experienced advisors with the six staff soon to be joined by an apprentice, who will be given their first taste of the workplace at one of Europe’s leading science and technology parks.

Wealth Planning Associates was previously based at Canterbury Innovation Centre and considers the move to Discovery Park a stepping stone to future growth across Kent, London and the South-East.

Mr Young said, “Discovery Park gives us plenty of opportunities to provide support for other businesses with our financial advice, professional image and positive support staff. It is a good place to be, with great facilities.”

The company has marked its arrival at Discovery Park with a special offer for the other 124 businesses currently based on site, offering each firm an hour’s free initial consultation.
