When it came to deciding where to locate his business, Cameron Mason knew taking up space at Discovery Park would be a great investment for the future.

The stocks and shares investor has been focusing on increasing returns on his investments since 2009, but after trying to work from home, decided a return to an office environment was the way forward.

Cameron’s search led him to Discovery Park, one of Europe’s leading science and technology parks, and he moved his business to the site in July. Three months on and the investment specialist already has his sights on future growth.

He said:

“Discovery Park was the front-runner for me as it basically ticked every box. It is logistically close, has a fast internet connection and a mixed-size office space.”

As the business relies on the internet, Discovery Park’s high speed broadband appealed to Cameron, a benefit of the site’s status as one of the Government’s leading Enterprise Zones in the UK.

He said:

“I’ve only recently moved in but the process from start to finish has all been very easy and I’m very happy with the new office. It would be great to expand and look at taking on staff to create a more ‘hedge fund’ style investment company.”

Anna Stone, Leasing Director, Discovery Park, said:

“Discovery Park is there for businesses of all shapes and sizes and we are delighted to have Cameron and on site. We wish him every success.”
