Case Studies - Pure Contribution

Pure Contribution

For accountancy firm, Pure Contribution, the location, environment and networking opportunities available at Discovery Park have helped to drive the company’s success.

It all began in 2012 with a one-man office, but the demands for its services have been such that Pure Contribution has more than trebled in size, in terms of both revenue and office size.

Founder Lee Perriam says the wealth of networking opportunities on site has led to new business for the company, which offers personalised accountancy services tailored to its clients’ needs.

“Moving to Discovery Park is probably the best thing we’ve ever done –it really is a pleasant place to work, we are surrounded by like-minded small businesses and the facilities are impressive.

“Due to the nature of the park we’ve not had to do much marketing on site – we’ve got a few banners here and there but really it’s all been down to word of mouth and networking which has enabled us to help clients from all over the site.”

In addition to the standard compliance requirements, Pure Contribution specialises in the SME sector and sets itself apart from most accounting firms by engaging with clients to build a close rapport during the financial year – as well as offering a monthly update on performance in addition to the more common practice of solely a year-end exercise.

Lee has an extensive career in senior financial roles in commerce, spanning over 25 years, and having worked with a number of entrepreneurial business owners, decided to create his own business to support them. Pure Contribution was the result.

He said: “Although we are an accountancy practice we aim to be more than that – we aim to provide proactive support to our clients, to become part of their team and to help them grow”.

This is just one of many great stories from a site continuing to set the pace for #science + #enterprise in…
