Your simPal cancer service launches design a toy social media competition

Posted on 20/01/17

Your simPal, an innovative cancer support service, based here at Discovery Park, has launched a competition to help create their new mascot.

Children aged 4-11 are being encouraged to submit their designs for the mascot, named ‘simPal’, online.

The best design will be brought to life as a real toy, becoming Your simPal’s mascot and representing those who benefit from their service - particularly children who are living with or affected by cancer.

The winner will receive a smartphone, a certificate and their very own finished simPal mascot, once it has been produced.

Entries can be made by parents, guardians or teachers on Your simPal’s Facebook page, at facebook.com/yoursimpal

Simply like the page, share the contest post and comment on the post with a photo of your child’s design.

Designs can also be submitted by post. In this case, comment on the Facebook post to inform us of your intention and send the drawings to Your simPal, Innovation House, Discovery Park, Ramsgate Road, Sandwich, Kent, CT13 9ND.

The deadline for the competition is Thursday, 9 February 2017 and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter, with regular progress updates on social media.
