Thanks for joining us at the first Mix ‘n’ Meet of 2017

Thanks to all of our tenants who made it to the first Mix ‘n’ Meet of the year; we’ve got so much to talk about and are looking ahead to a fantastic 2017.
There was a buzz in the air surrounding what the Chancellor might have to say on Budget day and what it could mean for East Kent’s business community, and we heard from three of Discovery Park’s own tenants to find out what they are doing.
For those of you who were unable to attend the meeting, as ever, this blog update fill you in with what you missed.
The Mix ‘n’ Meet began with a site update from the Discovery Park team, with Renata Harmadyova and Maddy Absolon kick-starting the proceedings, discussing all upcoming events, welcoming our new tenants and providing an overview of the newest arrivals to the Start-Up Zone.
The most recent additions to the Start-Up Zone in Innovation House include Stoneford and Thomas Groth; the newest budding companies to join the affordable office workspace in our community.
Welcomed alongside the start-ups are our newest tenants, Development House Ltd. and office supply company, Digital Automation.
There was also good news for six tenants, whose stories at Discovery Park are growing as they expand office space; including Gemini Fundraising, the NHS Design and Learning Centre, FFW, Wavesearch, MP Associates and Templegate.
Before networking and tucking into lunch, there were updates from Sally Reeve of Cambridge Weight Plan, who offered weight loss tips and tricks, Doug Young, Wealth Planning Associates’ Director, and Leigh Ramage of the park’s newest tenants; Digital Automation.
Thanks again to all who attended, and to those who didn’t, we hope you can join us for the next one!
Don’t forget; we have a Science Tenant’s Mix ‘n’ Meet coming up next Tuesday, March 14th and our next early bird networking, Coffee & Connect, on Thursday, April 6th – we hope to see you then.
