Discovery Park tenants have the chance to win a share of £15m in Government competition

Discovery Park tenants have the opportunity to apply for a share of £15 million to be dedicated to projects that support SMEs developing innovations in health and life sciences.

Innovate UK is investing millions in projects which address technical or commercial challenges in health and life sciences.

Grants can be awarded to a consortium, led by a business, working with other organisations or research groups.

All must involve at least one SME.

The scheme welcome projects led by SMEs, which can apply on its own for funding up to £100,000.

Eligible companies can be awarded with a grant if they meet the following criteria:

  • Be a UK-based business
  • Be a business of any size
  • Involve at least one SME
  • Carry out your project in the UK
  • Propose an innovation project that lasts between 6 months and 3 years

Eligible companies can now register for entry to the competition, registration must be completed by November 9, with applications for the competition lasting until November 16.
