Our Kent2020 success story

Posted on 15/05/15

Now that the dust has settled, we wanted to thank all of our tenants who exhibited with us at Kent2020. The day was a whirlwind and it was great to spend it with WWM IT Solutions, MiddletonMurray, Business Computer Solutions, Corporate Creations, Pillory Barn, Crane Office Solutions, Howell & Hicks and Kent Office Solutions. It was also good to see our tenants New Appointments Group, Business Flow, Locate in Kent and HRGO at the event.

After the success of our first show last year, we were keen to come back and make exciting new connections with lots of fantastic businesses at Kent2020 Vision Live, an annual B2B exhibition and conference event.

We were lucky enough to have our own zone again this year and were overwhelmed with the energy and enthusiasm from our tenants in the Discovery Park Village - they all showed what being part of a community means to them and we were proud to have them exhibiting alongside us, demonstrating their success and growth at the park.

Christina Chodecki from Corporate Creations exhibited with us for her first ever Kent2020 event. She said: “We thoroughly enjoyed exhibiting at the Kent2020. Being part of the Discovery Park village has been fun and exciting and we met many visitors who were extremely interested in our novel approach to Promotional Merchandise, resulting in many leads.”

Jennifer Howell from Howell & Hicks, our Kent2020 Startup competition winner, was also with us in the zone. She said: “We really enjoyed our day at Kent2020. It was our first ever experience of exhibiting so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were really impressed by the mix of exhibitors and visitors, and we’re already looking forward to the next event!”

It was great to see the Crane Business Solutions team as well. Michael Crane said: “We enjoyed a productive day out at the Kent 2020 show this week. It was a great opportunity to meet potential suppliers who can hopefully bring benefit to Crane Business Solutions.

“We’d like to say a big thanks to everyone who stopped off at our stand and participated in our ‘wheel of fortune’. All in all a very enjoyable day, nice atmosphere, great people and lots of new contacts - what more could you ask for?”

Business Computer Solutions also enjoyed the event and Matt Hudson told us: “We had a great day, made lots of new contacts and also met up with some old faces. As a whole we were very happy with the day.”

The show also gave us a platform to talk about all the exciting developments happening at Discovery Park and what it means to be part of our community. There was no better way to do this than to set up a zone and exhibit alongside our tenants – it’s you that make the park the vibrant business hub that it is today.

So, thanks again for being part of our Kent2020 success story – we’re already looking forward to next year!
