One of Discovery Park’s newest tenants has had a successful night at the Kent Independent Traders Awards.

Kent 2020 winner, Post and Packing, was named Runner Up in the Growth Award category that not only commends progress from this year but the potential to sustain growth in the future.

The company was also a finalist for the Retail Business of the Year award.

Hugh Furness, Sales and Marketing Director, said: “When we found out someone had recognised Post and Packing’s hard work and success and had nominated us for the KITA Awards, I was delighted. The event was a great evening and it was great to celebrate the success of other small businesses alongside ours.

“Being rewarded Finalists for the Retail Business Award and Runner Up for the Growth Award was an incredibly proud moment for us and all of our staff that have worked very hard to help Post and Packing flourish.”

The ceremony took place at the Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone on Thursday 10 September. Around 120 people attended the event sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses.

Post and Packing moved to Discovery Park in August after winning office space for six months at Kent’s largest B2B event. The independent postal retailer has six stores across the county offering postal, courier, packaging and storage services.
